Fees for My Services
All therapy fees are paid at the beginning of each session. I accept payment by cash, check or credit card. I increase my fees periodically to adjust for the cost of doing business. You will be notified 1 month in advance of fee increases.
Current fees are as follows:
$185 for Initial 50 minute Consultation/ Intake
$170 per 45 minute session for CIMBS Therapy, Talk Therapy, Energy Healing Therapy
$295 per 75 minute session for Lifespan Integration, Family Therapy, Couples Therapy
I do not submit billing statements directly to any insurance companies. Because my business is a Fee-for-Service business I am not in any insurance networks. However many insurance companies reimburse for my services as an out-of-network provider. Upon your request I will give you a billing statement quarterly that you may submit to your insurance company should they reimburse you for my services.
There is a $50 fee for NSF checks. A 3% late fee is accrued on late payments and monthly for outstanding balances until your account is reconciled.
Should you choose to use your insurance, understand that in submitting your therapy claims you automatically waive your confidentiality privilege as your insurance company requires that I provide private information about you to process your claim. This information includes your name, address, dates and types of services, and a clinical diagnosis from the DSM-IV. I will discuss with you all information that is released to your insurance company.
Services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance provider the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session for an out-of-netwotk provider?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
At this time I do not offer reduced fees for my services.
Payment at the Time of Service
Cash, checks, HSA, Visa and Master Cards are accepted for payment of my services
Regardless of the reason, all appointment cancellations require 24 hours advance notice in order to avoid payment for the full cost of the session.

Initial appointments are scheduled by phone only following a brief phone interview which helps us each determine whether I am the appropriate practitioner to meet your needs. If so we will procede in setting up a Consultation/Intake appointment to discuss your needs further and determine which therapy modalities will best suit you. If it seems that an alternaate practitioner would better suit your needs I will offer you input and referrals to the appropriate practitioner.
